What other worship activities do you participate in at First Parish?

nothing at the moment

spiritual development activities/ programs

Even though we have been coming for a while, it takes a long time to figure out what feels right to choose to join. We want to take our time, and we do not want to feel pressured into joining anything. We are very happy that these things are here for us when we are ready to participate in them.

Teach RE

Christmas pot-luck, Seder supper, Nameless Coffeehouse

None yet and it makes me pretty badly

I have found the grief group (when active) to be an important source of worship for me.

Where does teach Sunday School fit in? This year it is a significant commitment on my part and one that I enjoy very much.

We are not comfortable with the concept of "worship" per se. Worship implies acceptance of a deity.

Volunteer activities like staffing the food booth at craft fair. Help build the ramp out back. Tues meals program. Teaching RE

Nothing on a regular basis, but have attended the new UU orientation, 1 Prison Relief meeting, and 2 30-something meetings. Wish it could be more.

Committee meeting without the worship element. I have participated in the Prayer Group and a covenant group in the past.

Religious Development classes; Women's Circle; 30-somethings (sometimes -- but it's rarely spiritual, it's primarily a social group).
